
William Tomasso’s grandfather, Angelo Tomasso Sr., started the Tomass Group in 1923. The family-owned business has since grown to become one of the largest construction and development conglomerates in Connecticut. In 1968, Tunxis Management was formed and grew into a diverse portfolio consisting of commercial and medical office buildings, industrial and retail facilities, apartment complexes, an airport and golf courses. Today, William Tomasso is the president of Tunxis Management and TBI Construction and a principal in the Tomasso Group, which continues to operate as a multi-disciplined Real Estate Development, Construction Management and Property Management company.
During his time in the family business, Mr. Tomasso has overseen the construction of a variety of construction projects, including major historical renovations, medical centers, and airports. As a community-minded business leader, Mr. Tomasso is involved in youth-based initiatives and works to be a proactive member of his community.
Mr. Tomasso is a board member of the Opportunities Industrialization Center of New Britain as well as a board member of The Hundred Club of Connecticut and the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce.
