Based in New Britain, Connecticut, William Tomasso is a real estate executive who leads the Tomasso Group and associated companies such as Tunxis Management Company and TBI Construction Company, LLC. Emphasizing responsiveness to clients, William Tomasso oversees diverse activities such as property development and construction, as well as coordination of enterprise investments. In addition to his professional endeavors, he is actively involved in his community.
In December of 2019, Mr. Tomasso helped facilitate an event at the New Britain Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) for Men of Many Colors group members. Active with OIC for many years, he introduced Chris Link, the president of Link Mechanical, at the event. He had invited Mr. Link to make the presentation.
As reported in the New Britain Herald, Mr. Tomasso described Mr. Link as a homegrown success story whose message was vital in helping aspiring young professionals to gain insight into OIC career development and job training offerings. A Goodwin Tech graduate, Mr. Link went into detail about how he expanded from a location in his parents’ garage to 50 employees, including licensed technicians who earn $45 an hour.
William Tomasso’s community involvement extends to his firm donating a Yamaha Golf Cart to the Central Connecticut State University Campus Police in 2018. The vehicle enabled the department to undertake campus patrols and building checks, and fulfill campus requests.
